1940s Stanwyck Jacket - Racing Green

We are completely over the moon with this fabulous new jacket - which we created to pair with the Stanwyck dress (but also goes great with Hepburn pants and whirlaway skirts) . This jacket has some stunning 1940s style lines and features - it's like it's just leapt of out a silver screen scene with Ms Stanwyck in herself!

Super stylish - this jacket is tailored to create that fab forties silhouette of strong shoulders and nipped in at the waist. Shorter than most modern styles to show off natural waisted garments. The pics show just how tailored it is. Panelled throughout and raises at the back to hug the neck.

You will love the shoulder detail which echoes those style lines on the Stanwyck dress: a chevron insert surrounded by a sunburst of pin tucks. Subtle but beautiful detailing that require precision and craftmanship we are proud to have here!

Magyar style sleeves with a pad to hold a strong shoulder shape. 2 piece sleeves are long with darts at elbow for a lovely shape.

Note the ties at the waist which tie to nip in at the waist but equally give you flexibility of fit.
